Bagh Chal Rules

4 tigers against 20 goats

  1. 1.The board has 5×5 points; pieces move along the lines. Diagonals pass through only some points. The four tigers start on the corners; the goats start off the board. Goats move first.

  2. 2.Each turn the goats place one goat. Goats on the board can only move once all twenty are placed.

  3. 3.A tiger moves to an adjacent empty point, or jumps over one goat in a straight line to the empty point beyond, capturing it. One capture per turn.

  4. 4.Tigers win by capturing five goats; goats win by leaving no tiger able to move.

Bagh Chal was the second game of The Devil's Plan season 2 final: the two finalists played on two boards at once, each playing tigers on one and goats on the other.

The name: Bagh Chal (बाघचाल) is Nepali for “tiger moves”. It is also known as Tigers and Goats.
